Following the network’s rebrand at the beginning of the year and the implementation of Rudd Studio’s logo design, 2013 has been a very good year for ITV, with bigger audiences and industry awards recognising the effects of the new identity.
We’ve just got our copy of ‘New Graphic Design – The 100 Best Contemporary Graphic Designers’ by Charlotte and Peter Fiell. The book includes a selection of our work for Channel 4.
I have created another ‘Imaginary Landscape’. Like the previous ones, it combines photographs from different places (all in Scotland in this case) to create a new scene. This process allows me to mix times, lighting conditions, colours and textures until I have a composition that I like.
A couple of weeks ago we were in New York. I had the honour of spending time with two design legends – Ivan Chermayeff and Milton Glaser.
