Alain Elkann hosts interview-based programmes on one of Italy's biggest TV networks - La7. We were asked to rebrand his shows. The music and the images needed to be serious but not intimidating. This sequence fronts a two minute discussion about a book with its author.

The host likes to use his hands when interviewing. When Matt Rudd went to photograph him in his Rome apartment, he shot several sequences of hand gesticulations.
