The brief was to design a book that showcased original patterns from textiles, wallpaper, furniture and ceramics and other decorative designs.

Wallpaper sample books inspired the design. A large proportion of the surface area of the page is given to the image.

We arranged the images by colour to create a pleasing visual impression whereby contemporary images may well be displayed next to historical images.

The book is arranged in colour themes, so that the reader gently works their way around the colour wheel as they look through the book.
